Local Preschool and Daycare Programs
Caughlin Preschool offers local preschool and daycare programs to families in need in Northern Nevada. Family-owned and operated, we have served the community for more than 20 years. As members of the community, we thrive on helping families see their children develop a strong foundation for learning. Through building relationships with families, we aim to provide the best care and learning opportunities available for students. From the first meeting to the last day of school with us, we treat every child with the care and respect necessary to develop an appreciation for learning and an enthusiasm for continued education.
Staff
Our professionally-trained teachers support guided learning practices that are developmentally appropriate and aligned with local and national standards. We carefully interview every staff member to make sure they align with our goal of an environment focused on both learning and fun. See our current staff below.
Joanne Taylor Palmer
Owner & Program Director
B.S. in Elementary Education
M.A. in School Administration
Joanne opened Caughlin Preschool in 2000 and combines her background as an elementary school teacher, extensive early literacy training and school administration education to provide a quality early-education experience.
Tammy Leeper
Director
Tammy has 30 plus years of experience in the child care field. She earned her CDA and has been with Caughlin Preschool since 2006.
Jamie Martinez
Assistant Director / Infant Toddler Director
Jamie has 6 years experience in child care and has earned her CDA in Infant/Toddler and Preschool. She started with Caughlin Preschool in 2019
